Many
equine business owners who ask us about incorporation are under
the impression that incorporating is expensive. However,
incorporating is typically relatively simple and inexpensive. In
fact, along with insurance and contracts, incorporating your
horse-related business is one of the most important steps you
can take to minimize risk.
When
you select a professional trainer, you are choosing a business
partner. To produce satisfactory results, its essential to
find the right match for both you and your horse.
Equine
Legal Solutions is proud to announce the release of a new
version of its popular Boarding Agreement Package. The updated
package includes:
*Separate youth and adult liability releases.
*New visitor release form for people who come to your facility
with their horses.
*Easy fillable PDFs, including your ranch or stable name, to
create professional looking contracts.
Many
of you have been asking us to create a a horse liability release
agreement for you to use when you have friends come over to ride
your horses. We now have two new agreements to meet this need,
one for adults and one for children.
Also in response to customer requests, we now offer an equine
trade agreement. This new agreement is designed for horse owners
who are trading a horse for another horse (trade can also
include cash and/or items such as tack).
At
Equine Legal Solutions, students and young attorneys frequently
contact us to ask what they can do to pursue a career in equine
law. Some are hopeful that a law school degree + equine
experience = a lucrative new career as a horse attorney.
However, its not that simple...
